The Lucky Clover
Four Leaves, Three Hearts.
What happens when good luck begins to feel like a curse? As war breaks out, a four leaf clover becomes tied to the fate of two brothers- and a love triangle between Leopold, Elisabeth, and Judith. A story of love, guilt, sacrifice, and the dangerous belief that happiness always comes at a price.
In the name of Love
How far are we willing to go in the name of love? Leopold tried to change Elisabeth’s entire life and give her a better future - all so she could feel worthy of being with him, and so that his mother might accept her. But some wounds cannot be healed by love alone.
Between the Head and the Heart
After his father’s death, Leopold found himself torn between the life he wanted and the life expected of him. That struggle between passion and duty would follow him for years- and return when he fell in love with Elisabeth, a young woman from a different social class whom his mother could not accept.
The First Marx
What does the name Marx really mean, and who was the first Marx in the family? This chapter goes back to the earliest known generations, tracing the roots of the name and the story of the man who first carried it.
